Examples:

3) Tower of strength

"Someone who can be relied on to provide support and comfort."
Examples:
  • He was a tower of strength to his sisters when their father died.
  • Her father was a tower of strength to her.

4) In one's bones

"Have an intuition or hunch about something"
Examples:
  • I'm sure he'll succeed—I can feel it in my bones.
  • He is going to fail. I can feel it in my bones.

5) Close-fisted

"Tightfisted; stingy or unwilling to part with money"
Examples:
  • My uncle is a close-fisted man.
  • But let me find you in failure closefisted hold.
