 2) Carry over

Examples:

  •  His money will carry over to his children. 

3) Come off

"Happen, occur"
Examples:

  • The trip came off on schedule.
  • If you keep rubbing, the paint will come off.

4) Fall back

"Give ground, retreat"
Examples:

  • The troops fell back before the relentless enemy assault.
  • He stuck to his argument, refusing to fall back. 

5) Figure out

"Discover or determine"
Examples: 

  • Let's figure out a way to help.
  • She is a difficult person to figure out.
