Examples:

3) To be taken aback

"Surprise, shock"
Examples:

  • He was taken aback by her caustic remark.
  • I was taken aback by the news of his death. 

4) Account for

"Be the determining factor in; cause"
Examples:

  • The heat wave accounts for all this food spoilage, or Icy roads account for the increase in accidents.
  • I cannot account for the cash that he spent

5) Like two peas in a pod

"Things that are like two peas in a pod are very similar or identical."
Examples:
  • Those boys could be twins, they are like two peas in a pod
  • Lisa and her best friend could be sisters, they are as alike as two peas in a pod.
