Terse (adjective) 

صفائی سے، مختصر

"sparing in the use of words; abrupt"

Examples:

  • I could tell by her terse response Molly was nearby. 
  • He expressed himself in a terse and vigorous style.

Synonyms: curt, brusque, abrupt, clipped, blunt, gruff, short, brief, concise, succinct
Antonyms: long-winded, verbose, rambling, polite

Ensnare (verb) 

پھانسنا، دھوکے سے الجھا لینا، چال میں پھنسانا

"catch in or as in a trap"

Examples: 
  • Feminism is simply another device to ensnare women. 
  • Spiders ensnare flies and other insects in their webs.
Synonyms: capture, catch, seize, trap, entrap, snare, entangle, enmesh, net, bag
Antonyms: release

Perilous (adjective) 

خطرناک، خوفناک

"full of danger or risk"

Examples: 
  • The road grew even steeper and more perilous.

Hapless (adjective)

Drubbing (noun) 

مکمل شکست، بڑی ہار، پٹائی

"a beating; a thrashing"

Examples:

  • That October it was the Yankees who were doing the drubbing.

Negligent (adjective) 

بے پروا، غافل، غیر محتاط عاقل

"failing to take proper care over something"

Examples:
  • felt negligent for leaving Jean’s toddler alone in the car.
  • Rick failed to keep an eye on his young daughter, and the jury found him negligent.

Synonyms: careless, failing to take proper care, remiss, neglectful, lax, irresponsible, inattentive
Antonyms: careful, attentive, conscientious
